What would you be?

If there was one thing in your life that you could be or do, what would it be?

I read alot of crime and mystery books. I'd love to write one. I've tried to and gotten half way through and can't figure out who the killer is!

Let's hear it from you guys

I've been writing since I was 2, before I could read, according to my parents. that's the only thing I can remember doing all my life. I'd love it if I could publish one of my books, it'd be awesome. So I'm with you on that.

First and foremost, I'd like to have my photography taken seriously by the established photographic community. Then I would also like to have my poetry published. Perhaps the two together.

If I could chose one thing for my son with E to be able to do, it would be speaking. Even more than walking.

I'd like to be either a stay at home mum, or an orthopedic cast technician. I think the optical feild is too corrupt in winnipeg to go back to it.

A college professor. When I returned to college to get my second degree, I really enjoyed the experience (started when I was 3. I did very well and got the urge to actually teach at the college level. I hope to do that someday, but that means going back for more schooling I can't afford right now.

I was always a toss up. I like teaching people, done a lot of tutoring. That "light blub moment" is amazing! Never had the money, time or persverance to complete the schooling required to teach full time. My hats off to all of you who open up the world for all the rest of us. Its not always an easy job and rarely are you fully appricated for what you do!
The other end of the spectrum was construction, specifically electrician but everyone thinks that seizures and live wires are a BAD IDEA!!! I tend to agree! I liked at the end of the day being able to say I made that with my own two hands.

I know I just totally broke forum etiquette and lost a million cool points for quoting myself, but the VA called me this morning. Not the jokers here, one of the national people - I might get the chance...just not in my actual field (TV production).

They're talking about sending me to school (among a whole bunch of other things), but for digital art or the geeky computer hardware stuff I'm good at, since TV production is a recipe for disaster (16 hour days 6 days a week).

I can live with that.

Wouldn't it, though? Probably dangerous, too. Now that I think of it I may get started on my own county and expand from there.

Have you ever seen those shows "Long Way "round" or "Long Way Down" or the Michael Palin Series? I lose myself in those...about as close as I get to that concept even though I've been a fair number of places around the world. Just doesn't seem to be the same unless your "roughin" it
