Wicked Stepmother

My father in law will probably not make it through the night. His wife called here before we went to D.C. demanding money from my husband that is not owed to her. Then she told my husband that he could not come to their house to see his dad, my husband is an only child. She told him that if he stepped on their property, she would call the police and have his arrested for trespassing. She also told him that he would not be allowed at the funeral and if he showed up, the police would be called and escort him out. This woman has been a thorn in our side, creating many problems in our family. My husband finally got one of his aunts to return his phone call and was told that if he called the house, the stepmother would let him come over. All the family members were told not to talk to my husband. The step mother failed to tell the family that she threatened to have my husband arrested if he came to their house. I just don't understand how some people can be so cruel. My husband is now on his way over to see his dad before he dies.

Hopefully, she will have enough compassion to not involve the police. I hate to say this but we won't have to have any contact with her after my father in law passes away.

Wow! I'm so sorry that on top of dealing with losing your father-in-law you and your husband have to deal with this woman. Your family is in my prayers...

Ann
