Wooohoooo!

Finally got insurance coverage back!!! I know manyof us have no health insurance, and I was one for about 7 months. Right after being diagnosed (after 5 years of misdiagnoses) my husband went to work as usual, and the next day he got a letter in the mail saying he was laid off. as of today. So, no health insurance as of then till now. I am soo grateful for it, and I'm studying this universal health care closely. Don't know what to think of it yet, but so many people need health care and can't get it. I have a brother living with us that probably has Parkinson's or something. He shakes so bad sometimes he can't eat. He can't afford to go to doctor and get it checked. Onm the other spectrum- My MIL, who also lives with us, has miners insurance from her husband. She has never had to pay anything for it. I think her total co-pay is $50 a year. And she complains about that. I just wanna yell at her, Yeah- how would you like to be without. Then maybe you wouldn't complain." It just has me frazzeled And she gets this as long as she lives. Something is just not right- but I'm not sure there is a solution.

Congrats on getting the insurance. One less frustration to deal with. I hope your brother can find a way to get health care too.

After re-reading my post from last night...It looks like my good news turned into a full blown rant. Sorry, it's been a very busy week with much pain, much seizures, Much stress, little sleep, and a fell apart. I just needed to vent, and I shouldn't have done it here. I feel much better today after sleeping, resting (some) and some quiet time is what I needed. That always helps, then I see what a brat I become by not taking care of myself and pushing too hard without pain meds, and antidepressant. I'll be a little more positive, and try not to blow up and mess up the house. Everyone find something to smile about today. I had forgotten to do that lately. That's how I keep myself from becoming a victim of E.

I'm glad you have insurance now. One less thing to stress about is always good.
