The U.S. News & World Report’s annual hospital survey is valued for it’s integrity, its impartiality and the method by each hospital is rated.

Criteria for the survey is: hospital reputation and satisfaction …details of the services provided…plus patients’ feedback about their experiences.

These 22 hospitals ranked in Psychiatry were named as among the best for challenging cases and procedures by at least 5 percent of the psychiatric specialists who responded to U.S. News surveys in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Another 145 hospitals received nominations. They are ranked alphabetically below the top 22 hospitals.

So if you’re looking for an evaluation, recommendation, doctor or referral, I think you should carefully consider these hospitals and their credentials…
