Brain Bucket

Good Morning America featured a story this morning on the newest technology in MRI imaging - The Brain Bucket. It can see abnormalities in the brain that standard MRI's have been unable to see. It may be able help so many who have "normal" MRI's in the past. Not sure where its available but will look into it. Go to Good Morning America's site and read the story or watch the video. It was interesting. So far if you google it you get a lot of helmets. I couldn't find anything other than the GMA story. They probably could have used a better name for it.

It seams as though its only being used in a few hospitals and is being produced in a commercial version by Seimens Co for distribution later this year across the country.

quote "In a study using an early prototype and epilepsy patients, the new device caught abnormalities that previous brain scans missed in two-thirds of the patients"
