FDA bans imports of generic drugs

I only heard the basics on the news yesterday evening. When they displayed the most common drugs, with still more unlisted, I had a strong feeling there would be at least one antiepileptic drug on the list that wasn't displayed. Then I caught something online just a few minutes ago.

"Also on the list is...the epilepsy drug gabapentin, or Neurontin."

Is this something new, or an extension of the gabapentin recall from last December?
