A book worth reading (or skimming) is "In Defense of Food" by Michael Pollan.

Did you all see the "Food Revolution" TV show? I'm a huge Jamie Oliver fan.

Something my mom taught me is to cruise the outside edge of the store, and only go down the isles if something is specifically on your list. The healthy stuff is around the edges - vegetables and fruit, dairy, meat, etc. Also the bakery, not healthy but don't we just love it?

Keeps us out of the ice cream, pasta, frozen food, cookie isles.
