| This is great, Nak. Thank you. In a pinch, if you aren't near a collection site, you can take your pills out of the bottle and put them in a plastic bag along with some used kitty litter or coffee grounds. Add some water to dampen it all, then tie it up tight. Double bagging it is a good idea. Then throw it out, and it goes into the landfill. Landfills still go into ground water so it's not the ideal situation, but absent any other solution it'll do. Last edited by Endless; 04-26-2011 at 02:36 PM. |

| Thanks for this. I have so many prescriptions that my family has reacted to that we had to discontinue... just this week my son had peeling hands/rash from ceftin (antibiotic) for a sinus infection. |
