Cinnabar, I've been diagnosed Bi-polar as a side effect of Topamax (which is VERY raer as it is also used as a medication FOR bi-polar!) I shouldn't have been given topamax as I have a family history of bi-polar as my dad was bi-polar. Hope you are managing your probs well, I'm not doing so good at the mo, my eye's gone really odd, see my post in the kitchen, whats an opthalmologist? I don't think you can see them at specsavers in england can you? do you have to go through your GP? mine is on hols, locum is pants, she wont even read my file!

If you had mucho money, you could get one of those plasma screens. I think they go for something like six grand.

With regards to glaucoma, they have surgical options as well as eye drops. They zap the white part of the eye to reduce excessive pressure. I think there is open and closed glaucoma, but to be honest, I have no idea of the difference between those to conditions. The field test is an excellent test that needs to be taken regularly.

I f anybody is using an old monitor that is older 5 -10 yrs. old Ccertain ones can cause flickering in eyes or eye strain and flashing in your and could cause seizures of the temporal lobe epilepsy type and smal seizures check with local electronic stores beca use early this there was a recall on certain monitors from Sears and other Cos.
