As most of you are are aware I've been dealing with severe depression. On top of my antil depressant the psychiatrist prescribed Abilify. I've been taking it about 2 months. Yesterday I had a complex partial. How do I know. I was at my daughters special Olympics event. It track meet at a high school. I watch an event after it was over I went to the bathroom. I vaguely remember being in there. The next thing I remember was being in the parking lot. 8 Months seizure free shot to hell :bigmouth: You might remember my seizures were diagnosed as psychogenic. This was defiantly not psychogenic. So the question is this just a break through and not worry or could it be the Abilify?

Ask your doctor for a Video EEG. They are more accurate than an EEG. A regular EEG only shows up a seizure if you have a seizure during the EEG.

You should have an X-ray of where you fell on the concrete.

Take care, Ruth

I would say beware of the Abilify and make sure you tell your neurologist about the seizure. Since Abilify is an anti-psychotic, it can cause seizures. It also is in the family of drugs that can cause Diabetes, so if having extreme thirst, excessive hunger and tiredness, definitely check with your dr.
