AED Side Effect- Watery eyes?Has anyone experienced watery eyes as a anti-epileptic drug side effect? My DD, 13 began having watery eyes and some eye pain the day she started her new increase of Trileptal. Just wondering if this is common? |

| Hi Blondie, Perhaps the water eyes/pain are an allergic reaction? Make sure the dr. knows.

I have to agree with Cindy. If you check out rxlist.com, under Trileptal's side effects, you'll see that abnornal vision is one of them....so I would assume that would cover the watery eyes? You might want to ask your neurologist though, just to be on the safe side.... Good luck!!! Meetz |
