The original event takes place in Washington DC for the National Walk for Epilepsy. This event is really important to me personally so I wanted to give anyone in the Napa area an opportunity to help by Participating in an event that raises money for people living with epilepsy, touches all of our lives in some way. Think about the ways that people living with epilepsy has impacted those around you. The money we raise will go to fight stigma, raise awareness and find a cure for epilepsy. I need your support, so please do anything you can, join my team, register as an individual or make a donation to the Epilepsy Foundation on our behalf.
Thank you so much for all of your support! If you want to participate in the walk you may sign up with our team and walk with us in Napa by selecting "virtual walker" which means you are donating and/or walking with our team "A Ray of Hope" you will be recognized on the list of walkers. Everyone that registers gets a T-Shirt and a certificate, the sooner you register the better your chances are for getting your T-Shirt prior to the walk.

Please PM me so that you can receive updates from me on things like the location or to simply ask me any questions about the event. Please join us in our efforts to support the National Walk for Epilepsy!

I am just going to miss it. i will be in santa rosa from March 14th until the 19th... wish i could have made it!

ohhh I hope so! So far its just a few people, I should have put it in the Napa register. I only had about 3 weeks to plan and advertise so I wasn't expecting a huge turnout, just hoping! If anyone lives in the area or has email contacts that would be interested maybe they could forward the message out.

ITS NOT TOO LATE TO WALK OR DONATE!
We will be walking on March 22, 2008 at 10:30am starting address is 2590 Trower Ave. & Dry Creek Rd parking between Alston Park and Latter Day Saints.
I will be parked on Dry Creek Rd in a silver mini-van either in font of Alston park or the Church of Latter Day Saints, you may park in the Church parking lot if available. We will be leaving the parking lot around 10:30am. I will have registration forms for any last minute walkers so bring your friends! It's not too late, just have them bring payment of $35 for adults $20 for kids and I will send the form/payment to the Foundation. These walkers will still be recognized on the list of walkers for "Ray of Hope" and get a T-Shirt mailed to them! Feel free to email me at rayofhope2008@gmail.com if you have a question.
