Atkins Diet

I have heard about the Ketogenic diet, but I recently read about the Atkins diet helping with epilepsy. Has anyone else heard about this? Any links or info on it?

I believe Stacy follows a modified Glycemic Index diet.

Sort of. Stacy limits her total daily simple carbohydrate intake (~10 grams; she does not limit complex carbs) and sticks to foods with a low glycemic load for the most part. It's not exactly the modified Atkins or LGIT diet, but something incorporating elements of both. She is (and always has been) borderline hypoglycemic and her doctor is the one who advised her on the diet.
