Can ya'll say some prayers for me??? : (((

Hey everybody,

I am relatively new here...I am having such a rough time right now. Can ya'll say an extra prayer that I start feeling some relief/peace from these seizures and actually sleep peacefully? I would truly appreciate it and I really believe every little prayer helps. My seizures are nocturnal ones and the sensations are awful...like not breathing and fading off. I have sleep apnea..but use cpap, and that is controlled. I know they are partial seizures. temporal left lobe ..maybe complex??I am not sure..this is all new info. to me even though I have had these spells for yrs. undiagnosed. My last 2 EEg's were very conclusive. I am just starting lamictal. My anxiety is really bad from not sleeping, all these seizures along with just the after effects of the seizures. It would really help to have a peaceful sleep seizure -free. Thanks everyone! I know it'll get better...it is just really bad right now. I am in a cycle and the lamictal isn't working yet.

I appreciate it so much! My sleep started out bad..but eventually I did sleep some. Better than the last several nights. I am sure I will start feeling better soon. I know it can take time. Thanks again for the prayers. It is a rainy day here in Atlanta(which we desperately need)..so it's a great day to nest! Flurries tomorrow.

It should be a great day to nest. We live near Atlanta and will be getting snow again. My daughter and I plan to bake. Girl day! My husband has to work and our son is gone with a school event.

Today was a little better(thanks to all the wonderful thoughts and prayers!) When I have seizures throughout the night, I feel terrible the day after. I still had them last night, but not as bad. I'll be glad to see if the Lamictal helps..hope so. So far so good.Hope you are well also!

I felt like I actually slept some last night thankfully!
I still woke with a bad headache, but so glad to not have spent the night up with seizures(that I know of anyways). Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!!

I absolutely believe this too. I am a strong believer in
the power of prayer and staying positive. Even when I may not necessarily feel good or positive if I am having a hard time, it helps so much to know that God never leaves us and your bad time will pass and things do get better. : )) I trully thank you for your thoughts and prayers and will do the same for you!!! I have a neat true story. About the power of prayer!!
I actually know of someone(a friend of my sister's) that literally was told they were going to die and had a short time to live because of a brain tumor. She was a young, married Mom with 5 kids. Well...her church,family, friends, Drs. all rallied around her. She was getting prayers from everyone...even strangers that knew her story! The Drs. had said they tried every medical thing they could posibbly try ( sent to MD Anderson in Texas etc.) and suggested she also try different unusal medical ideas...like a medicine type man in the mtns. of N.C. These were the specialists actually recommending this. Maybe to give her hope, I am not sure. Well..when they rechecked her CT scan a while later the tumor was shrinking. The Drs. had no explanation for this. The chemo had not been working at all. She should've died already.She continued on, and is now cancer free for several yrs. The Drs. called it a miracle. I love to hear miracles like that. Obviously, my story is nowhere like that...I am just having a tough go right now. And I know in time things will hopefully improve. I do thank all of you though!!!! And I will do the same for all of you and your family members.

Nice story! Theres two things Im sure of,Miracles really do happen through prayer and that you can never outgive God! If you have a need in your life give to someone less fortunate out of your need. You will be blessed! Its like a spritual law. Ive experinced in my own life many times. I pray for seizure freedom for us all,amen.
