| My guess is that I need sound to see that... Edit: hmmmm, looks like a simple partial but if you notice too, her one side of her face suddenly droops. So who knows, maybe she had a tiny stroke resulting in the simple partial?

| Could also be a migraine -- it affects some folks that way. Here's the update on her: Quote :

Copyright claim by CBS Birdbomb, by checking YouTube to see if there were any clearer videos to be seen, it appears several of what came up in the search results were deleted, maybe by those who supposedly maintain YouTube itself, with these words displayed... "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by CBS." So I don't know if what you attached needs to be pulled, or not. Absolutely no pun intended.

| Yahoo! News interviewed a neurologist and a different reporter (who had suffered a partial seizure on air herself in a similar experience) and they both think it was likely a partial seizure: http://news.yahoo.com/video/us-15749...orter-24197089

| They also interviewed a doc this morning who slowed down the video way down and showed one side of her face drooping... said it was a TIA. So who knows?! In any case, she needs to see a neurologist, and fast. |

| Interesting... Even with a film of the incident, doctors have varied on their opinion of the diagnosis. I guess that's why they call medicine an "art." And what kind of coworkers and friends let you go home and not go to the hospital after that?! If it was a stroke seconds would have mattered. |

| What gets me is that in the LA Times article they say that it was feared she had a stroke or worse....what could be worse than a stroke that would have a sudden onset like that? I'm with endless as well...I don't get WHY anyone would have let her go home considering what had just happened, especially medical personnel! Crazy! |

| They just updated their dx of what she had--a migraine. I believe it! When I get even the short, jabbing pain of an icepick headaches, I do things and say things that I have very little control over.

| Maybe she already knows her condition but has kept it private even from friends and co-workers. This may have been the first time anyone had seen her in an actual on-set and she needed time to give a reasonable response. Not everyone is "open policy" about their medical conditions, especially one that robs you of your speech and being a tv reporter, it would be almost impossible to get a job, who would even think of hiring her? In the interviews I've read, I don't recall anyone asking her if she's had this happen before. However she was very familiar with them. Quote :

| You are right, birdbomb. And if she knew it was a simple partial seizure, we all know why she'd say she doesn't need to go to the hospital. It's because she really didn't need to go. |
