Day started with seizure and then went to heart racing

Wellllll, This morning, my day just started out bad right off the bat.
1st. I started have seizures, they started sm. then grew more intense and more intense. As some you of have read on my post before, my seizures WERE pretty much uncontrol.

On fri. 10/14/11 - started new medic. - my memory is EVEn worse on this BAd day.- so I can't reemb. the name.

Then my Heart went to racing and got SO weak I could not get up out of my chair to let Elvis out to potty.

I apolo. for spellijg, etc.

My husband got home- took me to hospt. -they ran test. nothing.
I have a monitor on for the next 24 hours.

I did call my neru. the 1st. thing. When she called back she said to go the hosp.--I was there.

A friend is taking me back to heart dr. on Thru.-wondering if this as a part in all the weakness I'v been going through.

I hope you feel better soon, it all sounds pretty scary. Cardiac problems can cause neurological symptoms, so maybe this will lead to real progress in your treatment.

Have you been checked for Dysautonomia? Autonomic Nervous Dysfunction can be cause of heart arrythmias. Good luck!

No, I haven't even heard of that before.

I wore a 24 heart monitor and went to heart spec. yesterday. all check out good with my heart.

He said my blood pressure was up at the hosp. and then it was low at his office.

He said seizures, blood pressure high/low and all the rest is a result of the new medic. Topiramate, that my neur. put me on 10/13/11.
I called her this AM, she said to stop NOW and I need to come in next week. I have appt. on the 28th. -- soo I sure she will be tring another medic.

But this is just how it is, as I know you all know.

If you would indulge me... MY SISTER-She said I brought this all on myself, that I should have never chg. Dr. and I should just keep taking dilantin.
I just, told her I love her, and I know she means well. But she does not what the (bad word) she is saying. and not to call me.

Hope you feel better. I didn't like Topiramate either. You sound like you can handle it like I could. When I lowered, things got better though.

When you say lower, How Low did you go?

I was on 25mg AM & PM for 1 week, I was to start increasing dose tomorrow.

I was at 100, was supposed to go up to 200, went down to nothing then back on it and am on 50, 25 in AM and 25 in PM. I don't like it but it helps with my migraines a lot. I can't handle it at higher dosages at all, my body doesn't respond to it well. I basically get really dumb, really tired, and I can't concentrate at all. I become an emotional mess. I'm an emotional mess anyway, but it adds to it. >< I hope you are feeling better!

I have never a migraines, They sound bad. Now that I read your post, I starting headaches, it was 5 days after I began this medic.
My memory was gone - in so many ways, I couldn't remember the day, date, or my neighbor name. Well this is how it goes.

I do think it helped me with my moods and emotions, so now I will try something else. I'm just wondering what she will put me on Friday.

I know what you mean about being a emotional mess.
But I'm better now.
I even feel like cooking, and have been cooking all day putting food in freezer, I try to prepare ahead when Dr. start changing my medic.
