Dealing with the pulled muscles?

I had twenty five pretty hard upper body side to side jerks a few seconds each about ten minutes apart, yesterday morning (kind of embarrassing while at church). Then a migraine. These are caused by recently diagnosed non epileptic seizures. Any advice on dealing with all the pulled musces in my back and face? My nuero told me to take alka seltzer plus right when the headache starts and that seems to help a little.

Thanks,

John Runer

I don't have advice on the muscle pulls. But migraines... those are not psychogenic or caused by stress. They are a neurological disorder. See a neurologist for those. There are lots of really good meds, like Imitrex for rescue, and preventative ones like propranolol. Mine are post-ictal (after seizures) and are horrible.

John, have you thought about getting a second opionion from another neurologist?

Pulled muscles just need time to heal. Apply cold packs 20 minutes on and 20 off to help reduce inflammation. Heat is counterproductive.

Endless thanks, I had a two and a half day video EEG shook two time similar to restless legs doc said one looked like partial uper body seizure he said but I shook more before and after hospital. After my next neurologist appointment i may still see another doc for second opion if migraines are not treated!
