do you wear a Medic-Alert bracelet?

I have been wearing one for about a year now since I heard it mentioned by a doctor, I think I was in the ER then, I was pretty out-of-it so I don't quite remember.

but it broke a few days ago and I've been considering what type of new one, if any, and even if I should make one.

and ironically its breaking seemed to usher in a cluster seizure spcoma tarting a couple days ago, and especially yesterday, like the breaking of a champagne bottle on a ship I guess - hilarious

I don't wear one, but my seizures are controlled at the moment. You might want to check out these threads that discuss the issue:

Nakamova,

My worth is you/everyone should wear id all the time since no one can ever know for sure when a seizure can happen. The longest I was controlled was for 8 or ten years then started having seizures again, including Status.

I've worn my MedicAlert bracelet for 45 years and the only time it's off is to be repaired or polished both of which are done at MedicAlert headquarters so I feel very safe.

Seizures are like the Stock Market, the past is no indication of the future.

I currently have my seizures under control & haven't had any seizures at all since my surgery March last Year.
Although I am hoping that I won't have any more seizures in the future I still wear my medic alert bracelet & have decided to keep it registered. I think it is better being safe then sorry.
