Does anyone know about the Leptin diet?

I came across an article on science daily that mentioned leptin helped prevent epileptical seizures in mice with a genetic predisposition to epilepsy.

Looked up leptin and saw that it was some type of hormone, and a further search led to a book called "the Leptin diet: How fit is your fat"

I'm curious about this. I haven't found anything I can actually read in detail on the diet though, so it might just be another name for something like the MA diet. But with leptin being a hormone, I also kind of wonder if this diet wouldn't be better for women than the MA diet. (at the moment, I'm assuming this something that can be done without taking leptin injections)

On second thought, I just found a bit about it, and looks like it advocates eating food that alot of people find aggravate their seizures - whole grain cereal, flax meal berries.

The leptin itself might be interesting for a woman to bring up, but I doubt you could get a doctor to prescribe because it might help your seizures at this point
