EEG Neurofeedback videos on you tubeAs I had never heard of it before I have been doing some searching. I just found videos on you tube on EEG Neurofeedback, and I am amazed! The lady in the video was suffering with headaches and migraines, she is, after neurofeedback no longer suffering. The specialists in the video state some of the many conditions it is used for and its quite a range. I have to say i am now totally convinced that EEG neurofeedback works. It is long but worth watching. Last edited by jazz'smum; 08-13-2008 at 10:13 PM. Reason: video didnt work |

Sure is! Wow! She is marvellous! Robin, I have read that Rebecca has been seizure free ..thats terrific news, well done. I have found a few that do Neurofeedback in the Sydney area but they are a fair distance from us. I am still looking and about to make enquires on gettting some assistance towards the Neurofeedback for Jacinta. Anything would be great and even if only enough to just assist her learning?? |

| I have to drive an hour each way to take Stacy to her neurofeedback appointments. It's a pain, but worth it IMO - far better than the alternatives.

| Bernard you have such computer savvy skills I have wondered why you don't get the program and do this at home like we are. I have a styrofoam head with stickers on the grid sites, and we are just working with T2 & T3 sites at the moment. We were given a monitor and a laptop, with the three wires and glue. We are billed $300 for the rental of the equipment, and I can do it every day if time allows. We also use to drive one hour each way, and it seemed so reasonable for the results that we were seeing. I agree, this is so much better than what we lived with prior.

| I agree it would be worth the travel. Being able to do neurofeedback at home would be the best option. How many sessions do you have with a specialist before they train you to do it yourself at home? Thanks for your help. |

| We had twenty before I was trained. I doubt all clinics are set up this way though. I am sure it also would be on a case by case situation. My daughter was definitely responding to the treatment, so Dr Othmer found it to be worthwhile for us. We communicate via email now, and I find it an excellent way to do Rebecca's therapy. It would be something to discuss with your clinic. HTH

| Thanks Robin I will find the easiest clinic to get to first then and organise a consultation. I suppose i should wait until Jacinta has had her MRI and sees the neurologist in October before consultation. |
