| Well, aside from issues of low blood sugar (a seizure trigger for many), and the overall metabolic imbalances that can result from fasting, there is also the specific possibility that you might have a deficiency in one or more of the B vitamins. These deficiencies can lead to elevated homocysteine levels, which in turn can lead to anti-epileptic drug resistance (i.e. your anti-epileptic drug won't work as well, or work at all.)
