If you have experienced serious side effects to a treatment (whether a drug or medical device) that were never disclosed or discussed, it's probably because the FDA is not aware of it. You may be able to help others decide their choices by submitting a report to the FDA.

They will email information back to you if you want them to.

Their link is: http://www.fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/

Thanks Ruth, good to know.

There are so many possible side effects that our neurologists never mention. I've only found out about them from research or from personal experience. Usually my neurologist tells me when I report any side effects that they're not related to my meds, even though they are listed as possible side effects. She always says the side effects are rare. Right.

I wonder if some of these side effects are considered "rare" because they are under-reported?
