Smile Five Year Anniversary

Today was 5 years since my last tonic-clonic seizure after 27 years of epilepsy. I had my last full tonic-clonic on Sept 14, 2003.

I still have auras, zone-outs, focus/concentration issues, memory loss, and all that other crazy stuff which you all know too much about. There have even been a few times when the jerking started, but no tonic clonic seizures.

E is still a major impact upon my life, but each year is another chapter of my life without that awful feeling of "What the hell happened? Oh, @#$%!!!!"

My anniversary wish is that each and everyone of you reaches a new milestone tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year.

Thanks to ALL of you who have made these past several months easier and helping me reach this big day!!!

Hey Buckeye

What a totally wonderful milestone to reach eh?! Well done, you must be over the moon. Are you able to drive yet? If not how long do you have to wait?

Congratulations and all the very best for the future, I hope I can one day look back on my "wobblers" and say, oh yeah, I remember epilepsy! I hope you continue to go from strength to strength, and every day gets better and better!

Best Regards

Elaine x
