Help!

I have this strange symptom everything looks big outside. It's 3-d looking. The fence looks big, trees look like they touch the sky, and I feel 3 inches off the floor. Like I shrink. Also I have lost concept of time somewhat. It feels like when I sleep.. I am sleeping on my pillow. I have had unusual dreams with this of spirals, things spinning off, they seem real. I have a few jerks with this.
I feel like I am lost in a world sometimes and so small like a kid again.
The floor feels harder, the doors look slanted.
Anyone else have this?

I hope it isn't psychosis. I feel okay, just everything looks 3-d and big.

Billy.

I don't have this, but it's not uncommon in temporal lobe seizures to have these sorts of distortions.

Its the Alice in Wonderland effect/syndrome. Occurs in some people with epilepsy and can occur with migraines also. I've had it happen with my migraines before. If you start to notice anything else with it (any other symptoms or an increase or change in seizures) let your doc know ASAP please.

Good luck. I know its freaky.

Does this go away?

I have had it off and on since childhood.

Could this also be De-Realization?

Alice in Wonderland .. yes that's how it feels and with this comes a feeling like being a kid again.
Bizarre.

I've only ever had it with/around my migraines. Started about 10 years ago, doesn't happen with everyone. I've had it start and stop right away also. Like something around me is big/bigger and then it just stops.

You may want to discuss it with your dr. Saw the schizophrenia dx also (just now actually). Could also sometimes deal with that as well. Better to be safe then lose progress
