help please, just had a really freaky morning. sorry its so long

so i have been feeling really weird over the past couple days. the dr. put me on keppra so i've been exhausted but i also got itchy and then on sunday i took a nap and i woke up with an ice-pick headache and painful chills. That night i had several nocturnal seizures. I fell asleep in class and had a whole bunch of simple partials and myoclonics at school and i couldn't keep my eyes open so they sent me home. my mom called the doctor and he upped my pm keppra to 1000 mg. i have still been feeling really weird though ex. achy, dizzy, sometimes itchy, and myoclonics still. my mom and i figured i have a bug and just to sleep it off. this morning i woke up feeling a little better and with two feet of snow on the ground, i went outside to shovel snow with my dad. after two hours, my face, (the only part of me exposed) started to tingle and i had a really bad headache. we came inside and my FACE WAS PURPLE AND BURNING HOT TO THE TOUCH. im not exaggerating. i was light headed and having constant myoclonics. after another two hours, my color came back and my face temperature went down almost to normal. i didn't have a fever. im still red in the face but not purple. im still dizzy, still light headed, and still having a lot of seizures. is this from the meds? is there something to do with exposure to cold? was this some sort of prolonged seizure? im so confused. most people's faces are COLD and red when they come in from the cold not HOT and red, mine was hot to the touch. i could use some input please.

actually, sounds like thats frost bite. the tingling is the first sign and then your body pumps all your warm blood to the affected area and it swells, changes colour and gets hot.

The rush of blood is probably what made you light headed.

it wasn't like that though, my face wasn't wet and it was light purple, it didn't look like frost bite and now my face is fine

hmmm...

The only other thing I can think of is that you were breath holding without realizing. I do it during absence seizures, simple partials and complex partials. but rarely during tonic clonics. and my face goes purple then blue??

If you're dehydrated before going out to vigorous exercise (like shoveling snow), then your body can't sweat properly. You end up overheated with a purple face -- it's a sign of the body trying to cool down when sweating isn't an option. Make sure you drink plenty of water/juice before, during and after exercise.
