to hot to handle!

Okay, so that may be a little misleading....I have noticed that I have a tendency to run a fever following my seizures. Anyone else have the same issue? I have mentioned it to my doc before, but I usually just get his same response of "could be related". If I lived in a larger area with more doctors to choose from, then he might be in my dust!

After a seizure have you taken your temperature or do you just feel warm?

You have to remember that during a seizure your breathing, heart rate & sometimes blood pressure all increase. That can definitely make you feel much warmer after a seizure. I know I feel warmer as though I've extremely exerted myself.

i've been told my face turns lobster red. don't know if it is related to the seizures or not, because it doesn't always happen every time.

Same thing with me. My husband tells me that i look white as a sheet before and then my face gets beet red during a tonic-clonic. one time my lips turned blue, from lack of oxygen. your body is expending a lot of energy during a seizure.

Now that you mention it, when I have had a seizure I will feel hot. I will either get something cold to drink and a cool wash cloth and put on my face.

I also feel like I cann't breath.

Mine is an actual fever. Normally runs a degree or two higher after a seizure and will stay that way for just about 6 hours. It breaks on its own, I sweat for about 20 minutes and we wait for the next time around.
