How were you diagnosed? Negative EEG?

They then did an MRI with special attention given to that area (I think with MRI's they can do specialized views with thinner slices -- or something like that). Anyway, they picked up a lesion.

hi karen, yes it was the slices.
she did two that no one had asked for/thought of before, and bam, there it was. finding out was very devastating. at first she thought likely MTS, but after the unit they said it was a lesion/possible low-grade tumor, but not sclerosis. so, takes a long time to swallow, but, must say i do feel fortunate in the sense that there is something to work with and i may have a chance of getting better.
 
Yes, with a lesion, you know what you're working with, and surgery may be a viable option.
