hysterectomy and seizures

I am 38 and have complex partial seizure disorder and am scheduled for a hysterectomy for blood clotting and severe pain during my periods. My gyno plans on leaving my ovaries.

My seizures are always more frequent before my period. I was wondering if anybody can tell me what affect their hysterectomy had on their seizures?

My humble opinion and experience

I was recommended to have hysterectomy,
but the neurologist objected, instead they used
titanium clips - even though I have had 12
pregnancies, 11 miscarriages, and 1 birth,
with complications and ended up with C-Sec,
all thanks to Epilepsy!

But, you might want to reconsider it and go
with the titanium clips instead as they are
finding that there's no need for women with
Epilepsy to have hysterectomy anymore,
unless there's other medical serious factors
sustaining the necessity of such.
