Klonopin = control

Ok

After trying to add on to Trileptal: Zonegran, Diastat, and Lamictal to improve seizure control over the last 5 months with failure, guess what is giving 100 percent seizure control?????

Klonopin .5mg -- 1/2 tab am and 1/2 tab pm daily.......

It was working as a cluster rescue med, and I asked to use it daily until another drug solution could be agreed upon. They said ok and wow it is working great. How long can we use this???

We are starting neurofeedback in May btw..... reading the book a symphony in the Brain, wow really good!!! Hope for us!

Thanks

I've also done very well with Klonopin as an adjunct therapy to Lamictal. I don't think it's addictive...

Taken as prescribed, Klonopin shouldn't be a problem. However, everyone who uses Klonopin long term becomes low dose dependent, and it can be problematic if you stop using Klnopincold turkey after being on it long-term. Sudden withdrawal after long-term use can have severe symptoms.
