| I don't take Effexor, but I do take Zoloft along with anti-seizure meds. Both are SSRIs, and a side effect could possibly be increase in seizures. Call the dr. if that happens. Just make sure you avoid alcohol while taking these meds.

| I don't mean to worry you, but before I started having seizures, I was on Effexor for depression. It worked well, just be very careful if you ever stop taking it. I have never had such horrible withdrawls coming off any medications. Effexor was the hardest for sure. Just FYI- this was several years ago so it didnt contribute to my E at all. Good luck to you. |
