Nightime Seizures -- new question |

| There is something called startle epilepsy where a sudden sound or movement can trigger a seizure, but those usually are generalized tonics and they happen many times a day. Chances are your daughter's already having the seizure when you move, and your moving only causes her to sit up. Has she had a sleep study/nighttime EEG? That might be one way to get a sense of what's happening. |
