Nightime Seizures -- new question

I have a question about nightime seizures. It is possible to have a seizure triggered by movement? or sound? I notice that when I share a bed with my daughter, if I move, she will sit up in bed, be awake but unable to answer me for a couple minutes and have some minor twitching in her arm. Then she'll come out of it, be perfectly fine, yawn or smile and talk to me for a bit and go back to bed. But I always wonder, what if I hadn't moved? Would she not have had a seizure?

There is something called startle epilepsy where a sudden sound or movement can trigger a seizure, but those usually are generalized tonics and they happen many times a day.

Chances are your daughter's already having the seizure when you move, and your moving only causes her to sit up. Has she had a sleep study/nighttime EEG? That might be one way to get a sense of what's happening.
