Obtaining EEG printout

I posted a few weeks ago about how my new neurologist said my seizures might be psychological. I'm wondering why my old neurologist. dx'd me with epilepsy if I don't have it. A couple of years ago, I asked the office for a printout of my EEG, and they just gave me my records.

Do they legally have to give me a printout if I ask for it?

You have the right to examine and obtain a copy of your health records. You may have to pay a fee for some records, including EEGs and MRIs. Can you have you new neurologist contact the old to obtain the EEG info? Sometimes it goes faster from one doctor to another.
