After a week of what I thought were bizarre visual seizures after 2 months of responding to a new drug, I finally called the dr on call this morning, since my neurologist doesnt know what he is doing (sounds harsh but it is really true). She said after asking detailed questions and learning I have a history of migraines without headache (occular migraines), that I am having migraines with a different kind of aura, not seizures at all. I thought I was having seizures constantly but they were cluster migraines. I am so relieved, and so frustrated with my doctor, who concluded that my palinopsia and flashing lights were seizures without asking if I had nausea/vomiting, light sensitivity, and a history of migraines. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!
