is it normal to ask questions about sex, sexuality, family relationships etc.?
I recall them doing this last time I was in the ER and it has always felt very invasive during a time I was very compromised. I think they were doing it while my mom and dad were there too. I don't understand this. could this be part of my psyche interacting with the invasiveness with the already compromised state?
do you ever recall when people are interacting with you immediately postictal or a little while after? my mind has been really muddled. I don't have any resource for finding out any of these things for certain or resolving these things in my head. I tried to go over it with a psychiatrist but it was not effective. I was invaded in some way that does not resolve. I see myself in the mirror now at times and it isn't me anymore.

it doesn't make any sense and it has felt like I've been under surveillance, like people following me, saying things 'to' me when I walk by them on the street, people talking to me through my tv in the background behind tv shows, car horns nearby to 'suggest' me to do something through hypnotic suggestion
these things sound so crazy to ME but I can not differentiate at the times they are happening - it sounds like Manchurian Candidate shit to me fucking crazy shit it gets me so close to the edge at times and it frightens me and I don't know where to go or who to trust - I trusted the hospital but then they were the ones who did this shit

Hey Peter --

You've mentioned this issue before, I'm sorry you're struggling with this. It's very unlikely that the ER docs would have asked such invasive questions. I think you may be experiencing a touch of paranoia/delusion related to your epilepsy, and you should let your therapist know.

That doesn't sound right, whether they asked questions like that or not. I don't remember most of what they asked me or putting my IV in, etc so it's possible you can't recall what was said by the ER staff. I'm a nurse and I once had a seizure at work and cracked my chin off the floor and needed stitches and by the time I was aware and able to remember things, the stitches were already in.

I'm beginning to think it was blips I do recall that I somehow extrapolated subconsciously into much more involved scenarios
eating better has helped
I think the recollection experiences themselves may be some sort of minor seizure (?) but I'm not certain
