My 8 y o son, who only weighs 44 pounds, was diagnosed today with Early Puberty. So...on Thursday consult with Endocrinologist and Neurologist to try to find cause. It seems to be related to recent surge in seizures.

He is rapidly deteriorating -- now he is having multiple tonic/clonic and tonic seizures at night. This morning he could barely walk, and even by the end of the day he still had a limp. Pediatrician checked his reflexes, and on the left side he is fine, but right side knee and ankle did not respond to the reflex hammer.

Hormones can play a big role in seizures, so perhaps whatever is out-of-whack is playing a triggering role. I hope you and your son can get some answers from the docs on Thursday.
