| There is an extended-release form of generic Lamotrigine, so you should be able to continue with that form if you prefer it. If you are not receiving the XR form of the generic, ask your doc/pharmacist about that option. I'm on the regular generic (not the extended-release version), and I take my dose twice a day (75mg in the morning, 75 mg at night. My pills are 25 mg size, so I take 3 at a time). |

| Thanks Nakamova! I looked on my bottle and it's not the XR kind. My pills are scored, I'll call the Dr and see if I can take 1/2 my dose, twice a day. |
