Recording when i'm sleep!

hi all,
what can abe used for Recording when i'm sleep! my laptop no good the solftare not very good i cheak it out the other night and thought that is no good,

so need other ideas

can you borrow a laptop with a webcam running on monitoring mode or u could run a camcorder with a hard drive so that it never runs out of tape (mine will record about 20 hours of video before it stops)
