As most of you know, I went to see a legit epileptologist to get a second opinion last week (and I absolutely love the guy). Unfortunately, I was unable to get my hands on the EEG results from my current neurologist (he's impossible to contact even if you go to the office), so he had to base everything off of what I told him and the notes the doctor gave me.

Anywho, he ordered an MRI :)woot:), and he said that even though I had a five day inpatient VEEG here in Virginia (they keep saying EMU) back in late September, he ordered a 3-5 day inpatient VEEG in Pittsburgh so he could get a baseline for treatment.

I'm dreading more stress tests, sleep deps, and strobes, but it's all in the name of getting better.

I will definitely keep you all informed on how everything turns out!

Skyfire, Well, keep on keeping on. I am heartened that it seems likely that you really are going to end up in a much better shape -- and it won't be long. And let us know!

Good luck with your next round of testing. Hopefully it will lead you to where you want to be. They may catch more or perhaps better footage then your previous session.
