Is this a seizure?

I just started having seizures last March. I had 4 gran mals and the doctor said I had been having the absence seizures all along. My husband said something was wrong and said I should go to the the doctor, but I was the stubborn one. Now It has my attention that my arms and legs will straighten out during the night and this has been occuring for some time. My appointment is not until February. Thank you for your help. I enjoy coming to this board.

It could be restless leg syndrome and/or you could be experiencing seizure-related myoclonic jerks. Definitely add it to the list of symptoms to discuss with the neurologist.
