Hi i just wandered the different ways in which people have been diagnosed with epilepsy... particularly complex partial. Thankyou xxx
 
I had a big ol' seizure (tonic-clonic), and then a fairly definitive EEG, so my path to diagnosis was much shorter than the one that many CWE members have had to take.

I think complex partials and/or other seizure types that are less well known and less likely to show up on an EEG are often misdiagnosed or mistreated, or both.
