Question Slightly confused

Recently put on either eslicarbazepine acetate (zebinex) or carbamazepine (Tegretol) part-taking in a study, as diagnosed with focal seizures -gelastic dycrastic (ecstatic), not sure how long they have been going on but thru bit of investigation, at least a couple of years - Never realized they were complex partials.
My question is: Roughly how long does it take to adjust to anti-epileptic drug's generally or do I just have to put up with feeling like crap?

From my experience and from what I have heard from other people it varies with everyone. You could be ok in a couple weeks, couple months...or in my case, never. However, in my case I have never truly adjusted because I keep adding meds, raising, lowering, etc....so that is probably why. So I'm guessing between two weeks to a month
