Has anyone had any experience with slippery elm? I haven't been able to find any info that seizures could be a side effect. Thanks.

I've had no experience with it, but a quick google search shows that it can cause interactions with medications taken orally:

Medications taken by mouth (Oral drugs) interacts with SLIPPERY ELM

Slippery elm contains a type of soft fiber called mucilage. Mucilage can decrease how much medicine the body absorbs. Taking slippery elm at the same time you take medications by mouth can decrease the effectiveness of your medication. To prevent this interaction take slippery elm at least one hour after medications you take by mouth.

Be careful when using herbal remedies for which there is little proof of benefit. If benefit cannot be proven, then IMO evidence of lack of harm also cannot be proven especially when it is not known how much should be taken to obtain any claimed benefit.
