Question Are sparks an Aura?

When I stress out, get angry or upset about something I get sparks infront of my eyes for about 2 seconds. They never lead into anything.
I have noticed them alot more when i get stressed/angry (i.e my latest appointment with my endocronologist. I have diabetes too. I got annoyed an went into "sleep mode" (a coping thing for me) which mum picked up on and jumped in with a question of her own. I left the appointment and after i got out of the room i had the sparks and what i think was a tension headache)
Does anyone else have this?
I have very small panic attacks and can burst into tears very easily. I was taken off Topamax as i had HUGE panic attacks. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one. I have a psychologist appointment in a few weeks and i hope i'll get a few more coping ideas for when i get angry. In some situations i use my iPod to "tune out" but in an appointment i cant really do that

I'm on Epilim, Lamictil and Vimpat

Sparks could definitely be a migraine aura or seizure aura. I know I used to get something like that when I had migraines.

Ditto what Nakamova said. And there doesn't have to be a headache with a migraine aura. There's such a thing as a silent migraine which has the other symptoms, but not the headache.

Your "sparks" are identical to my warning signs for a migraine also.
