Strange

I woke up this morning to discover I had bitten my left arm. There is only me in my flat apart from my gerbil and he certainly didn't do it.
Got no idea how this happened, I only have simple partial seizures as far as I know.

Plus few nights previously I woke up with a pain in my leg, it was obious I had banged it on something and hard.

That is strange! You might be having some kind of nocturnal seizure -- can you think of something that might have triggered new symptoms?

No, can't think of anything. Not ate/drank any triggers or anything.
The last neurologist I saw said I will never have a grand mal seizure, and that he can promise me that.

If it was some sort of seizure, I don't understand why I would put my arm near my mouth and then bite it. lol

To me dear the leg thing sounds like sleep walking. I had seem my wasband (past tense for husband) do some odd stuff in his sleep and never wake up. Even after some things that you would think for sure that he'd have to have woken up. It was a perk of being a night owl and him working 7-330 (first shift) over an hour away from home. As far as your arm nibbling ... let's just hope that you were sleeping on your arm and had a dream you were eating... that's what im hoping for. Just because that seems more then a little strange otherwise. I've fallen asleep mid conversation with people and have woken up in the morning to finishing that conversation as I'm still waking up (alone which is even better).
good luck dear. Let us know if you find anything out.

If it was sleep walking, I've never slept walked efore in my life.
The arm thing, the strange thing is when I settle down to go to sleep, that arm is turned the other way till morning so if I should have it, it should have been the other side.

You'd be surprised at how much tossing and turning people do at night -- even if you fall asleep and wake up in identical positions, in between you may have been all over the map...

I have to agree with Nakamova on that one. If you check into it (only because at this point now I'm not 100% positive where I had seen it) every 45 minutes our bodies "reset" in our sleep as adults we may shift our heads on the pillow or move a foot or a finger, something that small (I looked into this because of my son who has more then once covered me in bruises while we've slept but he never awakens really.) If you "clock" his movements after he goes to bed, its every 30-45 minutes, like clock work. So trust me when I say his ped said its normal, and I read into the whole sleep thing. I've woken myself up kicking myself in the shin dear. If this happens more then once or twice again I would start to watch your late evening/night time eating because that can do it too.

Thanks for the answers. Nothing happened last night that I am aware of. lol
But just had a short walk and on the way back, as I waited for the lift, I got what I can only describe as like an electric vibration going through my leg. Lasted around 4 -5 minutes.

Keep us posted please! and good luck with it. Hopefully no more late night arm snacks. And as far as the electrical feelings in the legs. I get that sometimes too.
