Yes, once. Scared the crap out of me. The advise nurse (Kaiser has a call in nurse for advise) said drink as much water as you can and you should be fine. I can't remember if she told me to get back on schedule or to skip the next one, you might want to call someone on that. And if you don't already have one, get an AM/PM pill counter - really helps double check in case you forget.

I have, a few times. I have an am/pm pill sorter and I still screw up. I get days of the week confused. I just get confused in general or I sort the pills wrong and I end up taking a double dose. Each time I wasn't even aware I had taken a double dose until it was time to take the next one. I was fine after those double doses. But everybody is different, based on age, weight, dosage, etc. So call and get professional advice. Do call your doctor's office, whether they are open are not. Their service will connect you to the neurologist on call. That's an important step. If they don't get back to you within a decent amount of time, try the poison control hotline: http://www.aapcc.org/dnn/default.aspx (United States) http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/ tel: 0845 4647 (great britain) Canada Poison Control Centers: http://www.healthycleaning101.org/english/safety.html Some local hospitals have a nurse hotline. That's another resource. If you are concerned or are experiencing symptoms there's the ER. There's a huge difference between taking more than you are supposed to, and overdosing. Here's some info on overdose, with symptoms you should watch for. Package insert with overdose info: http://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed...678#nlm34088-5 http://www.mdpoison.com/publications...06ToxAlert.pdf http://epilepsy.emedtv.com/lamictal/...-overdose.html http://hsc.unm.edu/pharmacy/poison/d...0Monograph.pdf (scroll way down)

I have no idea what I did. I have the am/pm pill box and I set an alarm to remind me to take it. I don't remember taking any but when my alarm went off to tell me to take it I went to check if I had only to find both doses for that day were gone. I felt fine until it was time to leave for work and then all of a sudden I wanted to be sick and my heart rate was over 130, I couldn't even drive to work, my husband had to take me. I was really sick that whole day, I couldn't eat or anything. I don't know if it was that or something else, i have had high heart rates for no particular reason in the past and I have had a double dose before without even realising until the next day and I hadn't noticed so it mustn't have affected me that time. I thought about calling the dr but when I have called them for other things in the past they told me I needed to make an appt which would be at least 6 weeks and I have one next week so didn't see the point. Thanks for your replies!
