so what's the general consensus on trileptal?

Stacy has never used it AFAIK. I have no experience with it.

I've taken 300mg Trileptal 4 times per day (2 tablets each morning and 2 each evening) for a long time.

After surgery in '06 it was the first medication the epileptologist slowly removed but after 9 months I started having seizures again so they were added back. I also take Topamax.

I had more surgery (knock wood) May 18 so maybe I'll be able to reduce medication again sometime. I do OK on Trileptal and have no major complaints about it.

Im on TRILEPTAL, taking 600 mg a day... it only works if i do every other thing right, like sleeping @ least 8 hrs, eat every hr and dont get stressed out, but its giving me BAD BAD HEADACHES that won't let me function! but doc says i gotta deal with the side effects if i dont wanna have any more seizures... so i dont know.
