Types of seizures? Atonic? Loss of bladder control?

I know I'm having absence seizures, but maybe twice a year the 'power' (muscle tone?) will go out of my one leg while I am walking. Usually the 'power' comes back in time for me to correct my balance before I one-leggedly hit the ground, but one time it happened while I was carrying my cats in a cat carrier, and the sudden-ness of the loss of muscle tone combined with the weight of the cats in the carrier caused me to hit the ground pretty hard...and I have a scar on my one knee to prove it.

So would these be atonic seizures? And would loss of bladder control (it happened once) also fall into the atonic seizure category? Please let me know.

Also, if there are any good links describing the various types of seizures and seizure 'symptoms', would you please direct me? Thank you!

Also, I"m letting you know that I"m moving this thread to the "kitchen" since you've already introduced yourself in the foyer. Just so you don't get confused.
