| Hi angie -- I'm not sure about the shaking, although that does sound seizure-related. Have you ever had a sleep study or overnight EEG? The flashing lights sound like a migraine aura (which you can have without actually getting a migraine headache). Migraines are closely related to epilepsy, so the aura may stem from the same abnormal neuronal firing as any seizures you have. Does the flashing occur at any particular time of day, or in a particular setting? Like other kinds of seizures, there may be a trigger that brings it on. |

| I have had an overnight EEG and Video EEG for 5 days but that was all a while ago now and the shaking is a fairly recent thing ( Well in last 6 months ). I fint my Epilepsy changes how it is all the time .... Is this normal . I go through patterns where they feel a certain way and then that will change . Its all quite new to me and am still struggling to understand it all . I was only diagnosed 15 months ago Thank you for the advice on the migraines . I will look into that . As I said its all still quite new and daunting xxxxx |
