Woo hoo

I will be seizure free 5 weeks tomorrow!!! There have been a couple time that I have woke up funny so I dont know if that was seizure related, or somekind of confusion. I dont know if the added zonagran is helping or what but I feel pretty good. Even though I was denied a position at work because of my seizures. They told me if I didnt have seizures that I could of had this position. Thats like telling a blind man "if you can see you can have this job". Im not going to worry about it though!

Sometimes I get so uptight (I guess that is the word im looking for) w/ the seizures, and celiac and brain damage, and problems w/ work. In the big picture I cannot control everything no matter how hard I try. Watching my new puppy this week got me thinking. He absolutly lives in the minute. He doesnt worry about tomorrow, or what if this or that. He is in the now. I want to be more like that. My poor memory is in the now, its just the rest of my brain works overtime on stuff that is out of my control.

I can relate exactly to the work situation. I hold at least 2 degrees related to my work and have extensive experience. I have been promoted twice. Ironically, it's taking at least 2 people above my position and at least 3 other outside contractors to figure out what I have done. I think they were kind of over confident to take over or figure out work done by somebody with epilepsy. It's kind of funny to laugh at their mistakes and struggles. They had to go up to a VP level to 'borrow' me at meetings.

I can't worry about it. I have other options.
