Good observation Shelley. Especially if the immune system was compromised prior to the vaccine. We don't know enough about the consequences of the virus laying dormant in the body. Autism, Asthma, Arthritis, Alzheimers to name just a few, are on the rise. Until we know more, we there is a need for non-pharma research in this area.

This is what I wanted to post. This is a biggie. We don't have a flu shot for H1N1. expierience that. My mom went to Mexico and brought something back. I might have it. No flu shot. I got so sick I have to go to the hospital. YOU THINK your body will fight off everything. I had a grand mal crawld around the floor dry heaving and diareha. Kidney pain, sleeping. It all starts with a simple sneeze. But would you take a shot for it?

still dancing....next time just get the tshirt!! Hope you get better real fast!! I will say a prayer for your speedy recovery. I still remember my multiple bouts of the Hong Kong flu, uuugghhh! (Needless to say, I took the shot last year) I mostly remember thinking I wanted to die and I was like 8 years old, it was Christmas, and I didn't give a rat's butt...Hope you feel better- Make them give you Tamiflu right away (if you can take it) best wishes!

LOL ! That was funny. Maybe I will. It was not the H1N1.I am just trying to prove a point. Just like our seizures. The flu shots are needed for some people to. I went to the H. I was told to. I had some wierd thing from Mexico. They had to give me stuff for nausea and headaches and the poops are almost gone. But the seizures are still more frequent. I asked for a mask. You should of seen the looks I got. lol. Actually , thank you for the response and the good laugh. I do want you all to think about this though. They did 2 scans on me. One on my absence and one on my brain. And now Alex is sneezing. Again thank you.

Hi Everyone,

Because of my seizures I take the flu shot. I will take the flu shot this year. I will wind up in the hospital if I do not. They are working on a flu shot for H1N1. They say they have it. They also say they are working on the flu shot. For severe back pain, I take Tylenol 3 with codeine. It puts me to sleep.

I will never have a colonoscopy. The last one I had, I got a hernia from it.

tylonol 3 seems to be 'the weapon of choice' but for me it is a death sentence...anaphylactic shock, so no opiates and no derivitives. Not many choices with that one. As for the 'other' test...well it wasn't my first choice either but it was necessary. I did weigh the options on the flu shot, it was kinda a crap shoot, but I did it and I got lucky.

So sorry to hear about the seizure, Teresa. I bet you feel like ###. Wish there was something I could do to help.

Would you consider that there is a direct connection between the health of your digestive tract and your seizure pattern? Just thinking outloud...
I guess you also have to consider that you are not holding your meds in your system, when you are ill, as when you are healthy.

Now that I am old enough to make my own decisions I am conscious of the fact that most people are out to make money (especially those that are at the top, which is why they reached the place they are). Surprise, surprise pharmaceutical companies make tons of money from marketing these shots. I wont even get into how the government implements these shots to benefit their cause. I have got the shot before. One time the flu shot gave me the flu hours after being injected with the drug. I will never let whatever nasty chemicals that those shots consist of back in my body, although they are probably cousins of what is in the ep drugs I take. <-- GlaxoSmithKlein

I got the flu shot once and only once. I got it at school, and withing 10 minutes of the shot, I passed out. This was the first time I was ever in an ambulance. i think I was 6. It was school policy, but still. Im not sure if its cuz it hurt, or scared of the needle, or what. But I also had the flu shortly afterwards. Never again will I get an immunization like that.

Not H1N1, Gardasil, etc. I have gotten the Twinrix, the tetnus. Never had the polio shot, nor will I ever get it.

Hi Stilldancing,

Are you still sick? What I do when I get real sick, I take electrolytes. You need them when you lose a lot of fluids. I take Pedialyte otc. Just 1/4 cup will help you out.

Robin, you are right about the Vitamin D supplement. I take it all year round.
